Everyone needs a trip to the dentist from time to time, and your pets are no different. In fact, dental disease is one of the most prevalent health issues found in dogs and cats. As well as causing discomfort these issues can also take their toll on your pet's immune system, especially in older animals.
Things to look out for include:
If you notice any of these signs please call us to arrange one of our vets to examine your pet's teeth. If we find any abnormalities we can perform dentistry to correct any problems and/or prevent problems occuring.
We may suggest a dental if your pet is coming into the clinic for a procedure under General Anaesthetic and we have noted that a dental would be advantageous. This is to reduce unnecessary anaesthetics and to keep costs down for you as a pet owner.
Our Pet Health Club is an easy and affordable way to ensure your pet is covered when it comes to preventative health.
The scheme includes everything necessary for the prevention of fleas, worms and other parasites, as well as routine vaccinations.
Ensuring that your animal is fully up to date with their vaccinations is one of the most important things you can do to safeguard their health as a pet owner.
