On Tuesday and Wednesdays our Sidmouth Practice hosts Puppy Classes run by Behavioural Specialist Joe Clarke.
The classes focus of socialisation and habitualisation and provide the animals with the education and social skills they'll need for a happy transition into adulthood.
Puppies grow up fast, and the period between 8 and 12 weeks of age will shape how they interact with humans, other dogs and their environment. It's well worth ensuring they get off to the best start possible.
In the classes Joe also explains how to correctly reinforce good behaviour, discourage undesirable habits and teach some basic tricks and commands to your puppy.
Ensuring that your animal is fully up to date with their vaccinations is one of the most important things you can do to safeguard their health as a pet owner.

Our Pet Health Club is an easy and affordable way to ensure your pet is covered when it comes to preventative health.
The scheme includes everything necessary for the prevention of fleas, worms and other parasites, as well as routine vaccinations.
